Our Managing Directors
We may each bring different experiences, strengths and stories to Hand & Home, but we’re united by one shared purpose — providing personalised, unconditional care that truly makes a difference. For us, this isn’t just work. It’s about building genuine relationships, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and walking alongside you and your family every step of the way.
Carla Blancato
When you choose Hand & Home, you’re supported by a leader who is both experienced and deeply invested in your journey.
After completing a Bachelor of Business Management, Carla began her career in the events industry, bringing clients’ visions to life with precision and care. During COVID, her passion for community service was ignited when she helped lead a food relief and rescue initiative in Camperdown, supporting individuals and families doing it tough. That experience strengthened her commitment to meaningful, people-centred work — ultimately guiding her into the disability sector.
With hands-on experience as a Support Worker, Support Coordinator and Psychosocial Recovery Coach, Carla understands the NDIS space from every angle. When you work with Hand & Home, you benefit from her holistic approach — ensuring your supports are tailored, thoughtful and aligned with your goals.
Carla has supported individuals of all ages and abilities, always focused on creating genuine, lasting impact in your life. Together with her brother Daniel, she brings her knowledge, leadership and heart to Hand & Home — building a service grounded in trust, empowerment and family values.
Outside of work, you’ll find Carla staying active at the gym, running, playing soccer and embracing her love of fitness — balancing her dedication to others with her passion for movement and wellbeing.
Daniel Blancato
When you work with Daniel, you’re supported by someone who brings energy, encouragement and a genuine belief in your potential.
Daniel joined forces with his sister Carla to build Hand & Home as a family-led service grounded in compassion and empowerment. He is passionate about helping you develop independence and practical life skills, supporting you to grow in confidence and capability in your everyday life.
With a natural ability to connect, Daniel focuses on creating support that feels positive, motivating and tailored to you. His adventurous spirit — shaped by extensive travel and immersion in different cultures, cuisines and experiences — brings creativity and fresh perspective to his work.
Whether you’re building new skills, engaging in the community or working toward greater independence, Daniel is right beside you with enthusiasm and encouragement.
Outside of Hand & Home, he enjoys football, tennis, basketball and rugby league, and feels most at home by the beach or staying active with friends. His passion for life and belief in meaningful connection shape the supportive environment you’ll experience at Hand & Home.
